Delivering drums that can roar and purr
To deliver the Decade Maple shells’ sound properties, you need superior drums with the most meticulous design. That’s where Pearl’s Superior Shell Technology comes in. This proprietary technique involves saturating the Maple wood plies with Pearl’s AcoustiGlue – permeating each pore and drying to the wood’s exact consistency. The plies are then baked in high-temperature with 1000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to produce indestructible shells that exhibit rich, thunderous tones and outstanding resonance.
