The Pioneer DDJ-FLX6 is a four-channel DJ controller with a brand-new design for the DDJ series including large redesigned jogwheels and a featured-packed interface that allows you to explore new mixing capabilities.
The DDJ-FLX6 features a unique way to blend between genres seamlessly. Using Merge FX you can create a crescendo and switch between different genres, no matter the BPM or style. The compact yet intuitive design uses the familiar DDJ layout with a new look including fresh features like Jog Cutter pad mode. Jog Cutter allows you to access premium-quality scratch sounds without having to know how to scratch. The jog wheels also feature track displays so you can keep an eye on your track’s position.
Although designed for rekordbox, you can also enjoy plug and play compatibility with Serato DJ Pro. Add in performance pads and a built-in audio interface and this is one of the most comprehensive and versatile DJ controllers on the market.

Merge FX – Mix between genres with the touch of a knob
One of the most groundbreaking features of the DDJ-FLX6 is the new Merge FX control. This unique and innovative feature allows you to create a natural-sounding crescendo by pressing the knob down. Switching between genres can be one of the hardest tasks as a DJ, the difference in BPM and drum patterns can make it impossible. With Merge FX you can twist the knob to create tension and turn it fast or slow depending on what you desire.
It works by selecting one of the eight patterns and dialing the knob until you are ready to drop the next track. The patterns can generate increases in pitch of your song, snare rolls and much more. If you are a rekordbox user you can customised and create your own effect patterns, with over 41 effects available in total.
Jog Cutter – scratch without scratching!
Want to scratch like the pros but don’t know how? Pioneer have got you covered. Turning on the Jog Cutter effect allows you to trigger scratch samples by moving your jog wheel back and forth. There are 10 scratch patterns in total which you can switch between by simply moving the playhead position on the jog wheel display. Once you take your hand away from the jog wheel, the track will play from the current Hot Cue position.
Intuitive layout with large jog wheels and built-in display
Scratch and mix with precision thanks to the large redesigned jog wheels. The jog wheels are the same size as the flagship Pioneer CDJ-3000 multi player, ensuring the utmost accuracy when performing. Each jog wheel features its own built-in display which provides information on your tracks and playhead position.
Sample Scratch – get creative with your sounds
Another feature exclusive to this controller is Sample Scratch. This new pad mode within rekordbox allows you to import your own sounds assigned to the sampler and load them onto the decks. From here you can scratch and create live remixes of a song. Got a DJ tag or a quote you want to throw in between a mix? Simply load it in and away you go!.
Built-in audio interface and performance pads
If that wasn’t enough, the DDJ-FLX6 includes eight performance pads on each deck providing Hot Cues, Sampler Pads, Pad FX and Beat Jumps. The only limit is your inspiration, providing all the features you could possibly need to take your mixes to the next level. Complete with the controller are free licenses for FX Pack and Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack for Serato DJ Pro so you can unlock advanced features and effects.
